Maureen is an executive coach, movement teacher and owner of a movement and wellness studio. She is a former risk consultant and audit director and has worked with clients across the globe as a facilitator, coach, auditor and consultant.
Maureen works with leaders to help them to better understand frustrations and opportunities whilst giving them space to think away from their day-to-day pressures. In her coaching, Maureen has a particular focus on partnering with individuals who want to better balance being a great leader in the here and now with developing and understanding their own future personal and professional objectives. Her approach is fun and honest, and she is challenging whilst also being deeply empathetic. Maureen focuses on human connection and helping individuals to become more of themselves rather than trying to change who they are.
Maureen spent 20 years working in consulting and financial services organisations including Zurich, Deloitte and Barclays. Driven by her own chronic lower back pain, she did advanced movement training and set up her successful movement and wellness business 13 years ago. Learning that most chronic pain is created in the brain allowed Maureen to start to work more intelligently with clients. She blends her leadership and business experience with this work to help leaders in understanding how to change outcomes by changing their perceptions.
Maureen has a degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of St. Andrews and an MBA from Henley Management College. She holds a Practitioner Diploma and a Professional Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching.
Outside of work, Maureen enjoys trail running, walking and swimming along beautiful beaches.
